Bring Your Expertise to the Hospitality Community

HospitalityLawyer.com® brings together the people working across hospitality, law, risk, safety, security, insurance, and related fields. Our events give these professionals a place to learn from one another, discuss the issues affecting their businesses, and build relationships that often continue well beyond the program itself.

MORE THAN JUST YOUR NAME ON AN EVENT...

Partner with HospitalityLawyer.com®

We work with sponsors and speakers who have something meaningful to contribute to the hospitality conversation. Our partners include law firms, consulting and professional services firms, risk and security companies, insurance professionals, and other organizations serving the industry.

We take the time to understand what each partner hopes to accomplish and, when appropriate, shape the relationship around those goals—whether that means reaching a specialized audience, sharing expertise, finding the right event, or creating opportunities to build relationships throughout the year.

Some relationships last a few years; others have lasted a decade or more. We value both, but long-term partnerships are especially meaningful because they reflect a relationship that continues to deliver value for everyone involved. If you have expertise to share, an organization to introduce, or a perspective that could benefit the hospitality industry, we’d like to hear from you.

For Sponsors

More Than an Event Sponsorship

Our events bring together professionals who have a direct connection to the business of hospitality, including:

  • Hotel owners and operators
  • Hotel brands and management companies
  • Restaurant and food service companies
  • Hospitality attorneys and corporate counsel
  • Risk management and loss prevention professionals
  • Security professionals
  • Insurance professionals
  • Consultants and professional service providers
  • Developers, investors, and finance professionals
  • Travel and business travel professionals
  • Vendors and other companies serving the hospitality industry

The people in the room may have different responsibilities, but they often face the same underlying challenges. Bringing those perspectives together is an important part of what we do.

We believe the best sponsor relationships extend beyond the benefits listed in an agreement.

Throughout the year, we look for opportunities to keep sponsors connected with our community. That can include introductions between sponsors and attendees, additional opportunities to share their expertise, recognition through HospitalityLawyer.com® channels, or simply continuing the relationship and understanding what they are working toward.

Not every opportunity is planned in advance. Sometimes a sponsor is the right person to contribute to a particular discussion, provide expertise for a piece of content, or participate in a program that comes together during the year.

The goal is straightforward: to make the relationship useful.

Our programs are built around people who know their subject matter and can explain it in a way that is useful to the people in the room.

We look for speakers with a strong background in their area of expertise and, whenever possible, experience within the hospitality industry. The best presentations connect the subject to the situations hotel and restaurant professionals actually encounter—whether that means discussing a real-world example, explaining how a problem develops, or walking an audience through the decisions they may need to make.

Legal knowledge is an important part of many of our programs, but our audiences are not made up exclusively of lawyers. We want presentations that people across the hospitality industry can understand and use.

For Speakers

Your Expertise Matters

Speaking at a HospitalityLawyer.com® event is an opportunity to demonstrate what you know—not an opportunity to deliver a sales presentation.

Our speakers are expected to use their time to educate the audience, raise awareness of issues that matter, and provide information that professionals can take back to their businesses. We welcome discussion of relevant cases, experiences, and examples, but the focus should remain on the subject and what the audience can learn from it.

We also value speakers who know how to communicate. Expertise matters, but so does the ability to hold a room’s attention, explain complicated subjects clearly, and make people want to keep listening.

Many of our speakers return year after year.

Some come through organizations that have partnered with HospitalityLawyer.com® for more than a decade. Others participate independently whenever the right opportunity comes along. Over time, speakers often become familiar faces within our events and part of the broader HospitalityLawyer.com® community.

For us, that is one of the best parts of bringing people together: a presentation may last an hour, but the relationships built around it can last much longer.

HospitalityLawyer.com® Events

A Community Built Over Time

HospitalityLawyer.com® has been bringing people together around hospitality issues for more than two decades.

Some sponsors and speakers have been part of that community for many years. Some attendees return to our conferences whenever they can. Others come for the first time because a particular topic or speaker is relevant to their work.

That mix is important to us.

We want our events to be places where people can learn something they did not know, ask a question of someone who has dealt with the issue before, meet someone they may work with in the future, and leave knowing where to turn when a new problem arises.

That is the kind of community we want to continue building.
